Here is a lovely little doll that I found while shopping in the Antique shops in Lancaster, PA. The dolly was terrible bent in all different directions wrapped up in a plastic bag. Her wig was one big tangle. When out of the plastic bag, she stood 14" tall. She was in very bad need of restringing, but she stood up for her pictures. Her synthetic wig was not attached, making it easy for me to cleanse and style. Her wig must have been worn up at one time, because of the way the hair was rooted in the fabric. I tied a peach ribbon in her hair to keep the wig secured. She had sleep eyes, and a hard plastic body. Her coloring was so nice, and her face so pretty. I dressed her in a very light mint green dress that was also purchased in Lancaster.
I thought she looked lovely in her mint green dress with her hair nicely done.
Pretty Changes Barbie in a yellow Barbie dress with matching yellow dress. She was originally dressed in yellow, but not this outfit. Pretty Changes Barbie was produced in 1978.
Dream Glow Barbie dress. The Barbie in the first photo is just modeling. The dress has stars on the skirt and the "wrap" that glow in the dark. The bodice is a hot pink "velvet" like material with light pink tie straps and lace around the top of the bodice. The Barbie doll (dress) was produced in 1985
This Malibu Barbie was manufactured in Korea. Barbie Dolls were made in Korea from 1973 to 1978. So although you may see the 1966 year on her buttocks, the country she was made in tells the real date of manufacture.
Princess Edeline Barbie From the 12 Dancing Princesses Collection. She is dressed in a different dress than she was sold in. She also originally had a crown.
Vintage Midge doll with Blond Hair and Freckles. I was so lucky to find her and a Fashion Queen Barbie on the same day. I will post the pics of the Fashion Queen at a later date. Midge is in really good vintage shape.
